# Email signatures

> Import your Gmail signature or design one per business, with your logo, brand color and social links.

Source: https://sydbar.app/docs/signatures

Each business has its own signature, set in **Settings → Signature**. Gmail doesn't add its own signature to mail sent from Sydbar, so set it here.

## Import from Gmail

With Gmail connected through Google, choose **Import from Gmail** to copy the signature you already use. You can edit it afterwards.

## Design one

Pick a layout:

| Layout | Looks like |
| --- | --- |
| Simple | Text only, with links. Works in every email app. |
| Logo | Your logo beside your details. |
| Banner | Your logo across the top. |

Then fill in your name, title, company, phone and website, choose a brand color, and add up to 6 social links. A logo can be PNG, JPG or GIF, up to 1 MB. Sydbar hosts the logo and the icons, so they show up for the people you write to.

## On every reply

The signature shows under each reply before you send, exactly as it will look. It goes out as a designed email with a plain-text copy for apps that don't show designs. Untick **Include in this reply** to leave it off one message.

The signature's logo and color are also used for the business's [booking emails](/docs/booking-emails).
