# Troubleshooting

> The messages you might see, what they mean, and what to do.

## Signing in

| You see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| This workspace is private. Ask the owner for access. | Your address isn't on the workspace's allowed list. Ask the owner, or sign in with the address they added. |
| That email and password don't match. | Check the password, or choose **Forgot password?** if it's offered. |
| That address already has an account. Sign in instead. | Use **Sign in instead**. |
| That code didn't work. | Use the newest email; codes last 15 minutes. |
| No "Forgot password?" link | The workspace doesn't have email set up. Ask the owner to reset it. |

## Mail

| You see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| New mail isn't showing | Sydbar checks about every five minutes. Press **Refresh** at the top of the inbox (on a wider screen) to check now. |
| Nothing to check: {Business}'s email route isn't connected. | Connect the mailbox in Settings → Connections. |
| Couldn't reach the email provider. | Check the connection in Settings → Connections; reconnect if asked. |
| Brought in the newest 25 conversations. | More mail was waiting than one check takes. The rest stays in your mailbox; press **Bring in** in Settings → Connections to bring in more. |
| An email I expected isn't in Sydbar. | Newsletters, marketing, notifications and alerts stay in your mailbox, and so does anything in Promotions or Social. Mail from people and from clients comes in. See [What comes in](/docs/inbox#what-comes-in). |
| Sydbar only | Archive and Trash didn't apply in Gmail. Reconnect Gmail and allow everything Google asks for. |
| Send is off | See [When Send is off](/docs/replies#when-send-is-off). |

## Calendar and booking

| You see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| No Google account is connected | Connect Gmail through Google for the business. |
| Reconnect Google in Connections and allow calendar access | Reconnect and allow calendar access. |
| Booking pages show "not available" | The business's calendar isn't connected. See [Booking pages](/docs/booking-pages#requirements). |
| Booking emails are off | Sydbar's email service isn't set up on the server. Guests still get Google's invite. |
| This day is fully booked. | The business has 20 bookings that day. |

## AI

| You see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| Add your AI key in Settings → AI to use Sydbar's drafting. | Add an Anthropic or OpenAI key. |
| AI paused | Your key stopped working. Check it with your provider, then update it in Settings → AI. |

## Agents

| You see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| 401 or "unauthorized" | The key is wrong or revoked. Create a new one in Settings → Agents. |
| Business not found | Use the `slug` from `list_businesses`. |
| Sydbar couldn't do that right now. Try again. | A temporary error; try again. |
