Booking emails
The confirmation, reminder and owner alert Sydbar sends for each booking, in your business's brand.
What gets sent
| To | When | |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmation | The guest | Right after they book |
| Reminder | The guest | A day before the call |
| New booking alert | You | Right after they book |
The guest's emails use your business's brand: the logo and color from your signature, over a landscape photo. They show the time in the guest's own time zone, a Google Meet button when the page adds one, and an add-to-calendar link. Your alert has the guest's name, email and note.
Replies
Booking emails come from a Sydbar address with your business's name ("{Business} via Sydbar"), so they work with any mailbox. When the guest replies, it goes to your business's mailbox. Reply to the alert to reach the guest.
Each email goes once
Each email is sent at most once per booking. A business sends up to 200 booking emails in any 24 hours.
When they're off
The Booking screen says whether booking emails are on. They need Sydbar's email service set up on the server. When it isn't: "Booking emails are off until Sydbar's email service is set up. Guests still get Google's calendar invite."
